Screens intensifying fluorescent SMP-1600 can reduce the exposure time by about 2.5-3 times compared to UPV-2 screens on X-ray films AGFA F8 (R8F). Provide control sensitivity at the level of class 1 according to GOST 7512-82 (Reissue: December 1994) and is always higher than in radiography with UPV-2 and much higher than with UPV-3VU screens. Screens SMP-1600 provide high sensitivity of control by wire standard, which is always a problem for fluorescent screens.
SMP-1600 intensifying screens provide a difference in the optical density of the image of the groove sensitivity standard and the base metal at the place of installation of the standard of at least 0.5 units of optical density, which is mandatory according to RD-25.160.10-KTN-016-15 p. 8.4.20.1.
Similar to Fuji IXG2, KYOKKO Super Special and Agfa NDT1200.
Distinctive features
They have local maxima in different wavelength ranges, so they show good results with x-ray films of all manufacturers.
Do not deform or crack at temperatures down to -40ºС. The tests were carried out in a climatic chamber at -40ºС for 2 days.
In all tests, they showed a result no worse than FUJI IXG2 screens in terms of gain and control sensitivity.
Unlike FUJI IXG2 screens, they easily bend in cassettes, incl. at low temperatures.
At voltages of 200 kV and more, they showed the result no worse than AGFA NDT-1200 screens in terms of gain and control sensitivity, and at a low dose of X-ray radiation they can reduce the exposure time by at least 20% compared to NDT-1200 screens while maintaining control sensitivity .
