Specialized nozzle U-459 for stable positioning of ultrasonic sensors on flat, curved and cylindrical surfaces of products. The minimum radius of curvature of a convex controlled surface is 4 mm. It is used with probes type A, type H and type C for TKM-459 series hardness testers.
The positioning attachment U-459 consists of a body with a spring mechanism and a support washer with two working sides:
- one side has a flat surface for stable positioning of the ultrasonic sensor when working on planes;
- the second side has a specialized surface for working on curved objects with a diameter of 4 mm.
The main material of the nozzle is a light aluminum alloy with a high level of hardness, which provides resistance to stress and wear resistance.
