Ultrasonic tester UK1410 for measuring the time and speed of propagation of longitudinal ultrasonic waves in solid materials during through sounding. In the process of control, surface sounding is allowed.
Measurement of speed and time can be carried out on the basis of a variable base in order to determine the strength and integrity of materials and structures. The strength assessment is based on the correlation of the propagation velocity of ultrasonic waves in the material with its physical and mechanical characteristics and physical state.
The UK1410 ultrasonic tester has a built-in seven-element dry point contact (STK) transducer that receives the ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic wave is emitted by a remote seven-element STK transducer, connected to the device body with a single LEMO-LEMO cable.
The presence of a multi-element transducer increases the signal energy, which makes it possible to control large thicknesses of concrete structures.
