IN-50 transducer for testing the hardness of products with a rough, poorly prepared surface using the ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) method. The force applied to the indenter is 100N (10 kg).

Allows you to control various materials:

• all types of carbon and structural steels, stainless steels, heat-resistant materials and others;
• products after carburizing, HFC hardening, nitriding and other surface hardening operations;
• galvanic chromium coatings and hardfacing;
• complex configuration products, thin-walled and small-sized parts.

Designed for INATEST hardness testers.

• The spatial position of the sensor does not affect the measurement result.
• The inspection area is only a maximum of 1 mm.
• Inspection is possible in grooves and blind holes with a diameter of 5 mm or more.
• The imprint left by the indenter is almost invisible on the surface.
• Tilts, spatial position and weight of the product have a much smaller effect on the measurement result than with the classical "rebound" method.
• The special design allows precise measurements regardless of the pressure applied to the sensor.
